How to view incomplete submissions?

Hello, 

I'm looking for the uncompleted forms because I have people asking me to send them a link for their forms so they can keep filling out with their information.

Is there a way to do it?

Is there a way to see how many people have started their submission?

If I understood correctly you want to allow your users to save a form and continue later. This is possible with JotForm. You have two options with the Classic Forms:

1. How to Enable Auto Fill feature

The Auto Fill method is based on the browser local storage. It is saving the form data on the user's browser, so the user can open the form later and he/she will see the past data. Note - The user will need to use the same browser to access data.

2. How to Save Forms and Continue Later - session method

The Session method is saving the data on our servers. With this method, you will need to use two forms, one for session generation and second as primary. The users will be able to access their sessions from any locations.

I checked the forms in your account and I saw that one of them has a lot of File Upload fields. The uploads will not be saved with the Auto Fill feature, so I would suggest you to use a session method for the forms with lot of File Upload fields.

Dear Joanna, thanks for your response.

Actually I have two questions now:

1) I would like to know f it's possible for me to learn who had already started to fill the form so I could send them a link so they can end the submission.

2) I'm testing the 2nd option (How to save forms and continue later) and the uploaded documents are not there. Other issue we've found is that the link provided sometimes work and in some cases were blank again and we had to fill the form all over again.

1. Simply go to the form's submission page, and when there is an incomplete submission, the Incomplete Submissions Icon will appear.

Once you click on it, the session details will be shown, but NOT the submission data.

You can then formulate the link to complete the submission and send it to the emails shown on the incomplete submissions list.

2. As per the guide, the session is valid within 3 months or until the submission is submitted, whichever comes first. Also note that the user should have already clicked the Next button so as to save the initial inputs.
