Is it possible to add a field to the form for attachments to be uploaded and sent to the client along with the form?

    Hello,

I am currently utilizing a jotform to follow up with clients in an educational setting. Unlike most situations where the client receives the jotform to fill out and submit to me, the administrator- I'm having my employees use the form to be submitted to individual clients. The email field on my form is filled in with the clients email address which is where the submitted form is sent.

My question is: In this scenario, is it possible to add a field to the form for attachments to be uploaded and sent to the client along with the form?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Sure you can, you can just insert an upload field to your form:

And whatever you upload there will go to your customer's email address.

Let us know if that is what you had in mind.

    Thank you!

That is exactly what I had in mind. I added that field as you instructed and to tes- I uploaded a file and sent myself a copy using the "Secondary E-mail" field of the submitted form.

The completed form gets sent off as it should but there are no file attachments on the receiving end of the email. Am I doing something incorrectly?

    Hello,

Unfortunately, I can not find the form you refer to, but generally, a link to uploaded file should be included on Autoresponder email:

We can check your form if you provide us the link to the one you refer to.

I understand that you want to send the files uploaded to the form filling person as attachments in the email. If so, unfortunately, the auto-responder email doesn't have the option and it is available only to notifications with a total limit of 15MB.

However, the links to the files uploaded can be included by adding the file upload field in the body of the email. If you still want to send the files uploaded to the email address entered on the form, you may consider setting a notification on the form and add a condition to send the notification email to the recipient address entered as shown below:

I feel like I'm getting conflicting answers.

It is not possible to send attachments submitted through this form then?

It is not possible to send uploaded files as attachments via Autoresponder, uploads will come like this:

Or you can use the workaround provided by my colleague and use the Notifier.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you!
