Saving multiple forms for later

    Hi

I have followed guidance on creating a form which can be saved to be finished later, however the form needs to be saved for later in the event that a customer does not wish to proceed immediately, this presents a problem for the advisor completing the form because they can seemingly only have one form saved per user (the session is recovered based upon the email address of the user completing the form)

So while the advisor could partially complete, and then save a form, if they visit a customer who DOES wish to proceed, or even another customer who doesn't, they will not be able to view the first record any more as they will always see the latest.

If you have any idea as to how this can be achieved it would be great, as unfortunately we are now having to seek alternate solutions that do not involve jotform simply because there will be no way to manage the incomplete submissions

    Regards

You could give the edit link to your advisor

and enable Send on edit. This will let your advisor receive emails when the submission is edited.

You can use condition to send a new email template to your advisor with the edit link.

Please give it a try and let us know if it fits your requirements.

    Thank you.

    Hi there

That is very useful, I also had a realisation, the address the auto responder sends to and the 'email' field are not neccessarily the same, i could use the clients email as the session id and still have the auto responder send that link to the advisor, so it shouldn't be a problem as there would only be one submission per client email.

Between that and this functionality you have made me aware of I think we will be sticking with jotforms, i certainly hope so because I've only used it a day or so and feel very comfortable with it now!

Also impressed at the speed of assistance

    Thanks again

Yes, autoresponder email address are derived from the email address fields. Your idea is great ,as you have a unique session with the email address.

If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

    Thank you.
