    Hey John,

Thank you for your reply. I called authorize.net and they said the last transaction was August 21st and the problem is with JotForm transmissions not happening. What is next?

    Tks, Doug

Can  you please share to us details of successful submissions which did not send the payment to your Authorize.net account?

We need the details so we can further check the issue.

The payment field present in your form is not mandatory so while submitting it may be skipped if the user does not fill in the details and submitted the form.

Please enable the Required field to ON so that one cannot skip the payment field and submit the form.

I have enabled the required validations and it is throwing an error in my cloned version of form when I tried to submit it.

This helps. So can you fix this it was working and nothing changed at this end make the jotform link a required field, is that what you are saying? Something changed somewhere because this was working before and I did not change anything here.

Please turn on this field (please pay) and leave it on this has caused major problems here with payments not going through leaving my customers wondering where their information has gone when the filled the cc form out and I did not get payment. Tks, Doug

I set the payment field to be required.  Users will no longer be able to to submit the form without entering their payment information.  Users could still enter a value of 0, so a suggested and minimum amount might also be helpful:

     Hello David,

Do we know how we went from all working fine to this train wreck? I want to know so we  cannot have this happen again? Tks, Doug

It is possible that nothing at all has changed, just a string of users who all decided not to enter anything for the payment amount.  The form is still fully functional and was before as far as I can tell.  Had those users entered an amount for payment, they would have been required to enter credit card information and pay.

    David,

I guess this is possible that most volunteered information with out requirement nothing was changed at this end. Is there a way to retrieve these payments so I do not have to ask my customers to fill i out again.  So NOW they can NOT send an order form without payment correct? Tks, Doug

Payments are only processed when the form is initially submitted.  Since the users didn't pay or enter any payment data when the form was submitted, they would need to resubmit the form including their payment information.
