Wrong Email Sent.

I have a condition/logic on my form that sends an email when specific values are met. It has been disabled as it is no longer in use at the moment; it is not deleted so that I do not have to build it again when I need it. Furthermore, its corresponding field value on the form has been deleted, so there is no way all the conditions can be met for the action to be taken, i.e. sending the email.

However, I received emails from a few users receiving wrongly sent emails, and I realised it is precisely the email that I have prevented to be sent.

I might be wrong, but could it be an internal programming issue where the "missing field" is somehow interpreted as fulfilled, and hence the email sent?

I have attached a screenshot of the disabled condition/logic, as well as (only accessible by JotForm admins?) a link to the backend of the form.

Any feedback/help regarding this is appreciated. Thank you.

When a condition is disabled it will not be triggered. As far as I saw that was the only condition for the "Sub-Principal Cello" Autoresponder Email. Considering that the condition is disabled this Autoresponder Email will be sent each time the form is submitted.

If you do not want to sent the Autoresponder Email "Sub-Principal Cello" to your users, each time the form is submitted, you need to delete this Autoresponder Email.

I would prefer not to delete the Autoresponder Email "Sub-Principal Cello" as it may be required in the future.

Would enabling the condition, but leaving the "missing field" there, render it "unfulfillable" and therefore not trigger the Autoresponder Email?

It is not possible to disable the autoresponder email and we do not recommend to keep broken conditional statements under the form. But, as a workaround you could create a conditional statement for that email, which can never be met.

    Hope this helps.
