How to apply conditions based on sub products selected at payment field?

Another option I looked at is using tables and conditions, which works pretty well and, in many ways, I think the table look neater than the configurable list option. However, I would like the number of Tables to be shown according to the value selected in the sub-product options from the payment widget, but I do not know how to "pull" the sub-product values (form calculation or Fields in Text pulls the total). Otherwise, I need people to fill in numbers of rooms twice effectively.

Related to this, I want to be able to pull some of the more detailed information from the Sub-products in the payment widget to have a summary in a Text. However, the only thing which comes out is the total. How can I pull the more detailed information from the payment widget.

As far as I understand, you want to set up conditions based on a sub products selection. Unfortunately, it is not possible when using the payment field.

However, you could re-create the products/sub products within the form and to pass the calculated value to the payment field. In this case, you can set up conditional logic for sub products.

Thank you for your help so far, but the solutions for calculating a value in the payment field are proving difficult, as I want to avoid as many multiple conditions rules as possible. I have a number of variations that will effect the final payment calculation: country (6 variables), type of accommodation (3 variables), number of people (up to 5 variables). This gets very complicated using conditions and I want to simply as much as possible. I am not sure which widgets to use.

    The steps are:

    1. Select Country (6+ Options)

    2. Select accommodation (3 + options) x Number of People per accommodation type

    3. Calculate total price.

Which are the best options for this?

    Thanks,

As far as I understand, you want to show some fields based on Number of People per accommodation.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to set up conditions based on sub products of payment field. You would need to fully utilize the conditions function, you'll need to use plain form fields and pass the total value to the payment wizard as the final cost. Which means you'll need to add the products and sub-products using text box fields, drop downs, etc.

I would recommend to use dropdown fields for users to enter number of people and to assign calculation values to calculate a total: How-to-Assign-Calculation-Value

You can have multiple sets of fields with their own calculation values and to show them based on country selected: Hide-or-Show-Multiple-Fields-at-Once

    Hope this helps.

Thank you. I understand this. The Spreadsheets to Form widget would make things much, much easier. However, from what I can see, there is no way to make the "question" for the Spreadsheets to Form widget a drop-down menu from pre-selected values OR pull the value for the Spreadsheet to Form from another field. Is this correct? If you were able to have this function then it would be fantastic and make Jotform much more powerful!.

    Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pass the value of a dropdown field to the Spreadsheet To Form Widget input.

I am not sure if it is possible to pass the value of a different type of field/widget that has options which can be selected by the users.

I will consult with my colleagues to make sure this is not possible.

Even if this is possible, the button to initiate the populating of the fields from the spreadsheet in the widget must be clicked.
