Autofill passing parameters on encrypted forms - Just upgraded to Silver

    Hello,

    I had a message but since upgrading I can no longer access it in the forum-- As per the support staff, I upgraded to the Silver package w/ HIPAA compliance to get the ability to have non-encrypted fields in encrypted forms. 

    Atm I have an encrypted form and want to pass a variable to another form.

    I just upgraded to the Silver plan and was wondering how I can pass that variable over to the next form (the user's email / one other field) while still keeping the bulk of their information secure.

    Hello Alice,

    Your previous thread is in Private mode, so you can only access it being logged in to your account. I am copying my latest reply here:


    Please follow these steps to enable HIPAA compliance on your account: How-to-upgrade-to-HIPAA-Compliance. Your data will be transferred to our HIPAA servers.

    I would suggest to disable form encryption before proceeding. 

    Afterwards, you will see an option to specify protected/unprotected fields: How-to-set-PHI-fields-on-your-forms

    Then, the URL method of forwarding data to next form should work.

    Thanks for the details! Super helpful-- Upgrading to the HIPAA system now.

    2 questions on that:
    Is the HIPAA-compliance the same (or more secure) as encryption? (Is HIPAA-compliance still using TLS as if I put encryption?) 

    Update: (I no longer see the Encryption option in settings so assume this is also TLS and even more secure?)
