Inquiry about associated payment service

The Silver subscription allows for 100 payments a month. However, I see this is done by integrating a secure payment service into the form. Presumably then I would not only need to upgrade to Silver but also pay the associated payment service (Pay Pal or other) on top of the subscription? Or is it included?

In JotForm, if your form is connected to a payment processor (like PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.Net, Square), then each completed transaction will be considered as a payment submission.

In the Silver plan, you can receive 100 payment submissions per month. We will only charge you based on the plan that you have. JotForm only transfers the order information to the integrated payment processor. If there'll be extra charges, you will need to check that with the payment processor. However, in JotForm, you'll only pay for the subscription that you have.

For more information about account usage, kindly check this document: Understanding-Your-Account-Usage-and-Limits.

    Hope that helps. Thank you.

    Thank you for your reply.

We are a very small business, in fact we are an education non-profit, so we're looking for a very good-value payment processor.

If we were to choose a payment processor not yet present the list of payment processors available in the standard jotform draft, would I be able to integrate it into jotform?

We would need to submit a feature request, however, it will not be integrated in a near future, and there will not be an estimated time-frame for its implementation. If you want us to submit the request, please let us know what is the payment gateway you would like to see available.

If your educational institution is a non-profit, please go to this page to apply for the non-profit pricing: https://www.jotform.com/education/pricing/

We've already obtained Jotform's approval of the non-profit pricing for our organisation. We're still on the free version but thinking of upgrading to Silver, if a reasonably-priced solution for online payments can be found.

The payment gateway I was thinking of was Due as they advertise a 2.8% fee per transaction with no extra charges, which is the best value I have seen so far.

I've visited the websites of some of the gateways already proposed on jotform and in some cases (eg Chase wepay) the basic fees are not even advertised.

Is there any more efficient way to compare payment gateway fees than visiting the website of each of the gateways?

Unfortunately no. You will have to go to the payment gateway website and check their fees.

Do you want me to send a feature request ticket to our backend team for Due payment gateway integration? Do get back to on this and we will do the needful.
