Fill out the inspection form in the customer site and I and the customer sign them

    Please explain your process in better detail. What is a submission? Why is my fire inspection customer report a submission? Is each customer report a submission?

    Submission is a response received for the form you have created. Fire Alarm System Report Form is a form, if you share it to your customers, you will probably start receiving responses that are form submissions.     I just need a fire inspection form to fill out and reuse for the same customers on a regular basis. Not billing.

    Yes, that's possible. You can have the same customers fill them on regular basis. Pretty much anyone who has your form URL can fill it and submit it anytime they want.

    Let me explain my situation.
    I do fire alarm inspections for my company. I go to the customer site, do the inspections, fill out the inspection form and I sign and then the customer signs the form. I need to be able to save a form for each customer from a template with my company information already fill in. I need to be able to rename the form with the customers name and what qrtr the inspection was done and then I need to be able to recall the previous inspection for customer, make any changes to the inspection sheet and have them sign for the new qrtr.
    Can you do this?

    Yes, that's possible by either doing it through an online form or through fillable PDF form for both offline and online use.

    Based on your requirements, it would seem to be easier when you do it on fillable PDF form especially when you are doing it on the customer site. The downside is that you can only collect field values as signatures but the PDF app itself like Adobe PDF Reader has Sign feature that you can take advantage.

    So first, you will have to create your inspection fillable PDF form.

    Download the fillable PDF so you can bring and use it into the customer site using any devices. From there you can open the PDF, fill them with the customer's information and save it with the customer's name. To sign the PDF, use the Sign feature in the Adobe PDF Reader. Whenever you want to make changes on the data, you can always edit it by opening the PDF.

    To view/edit the PDF, you must have an Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader installed on your device. If you also want to submit the customer's data onto your account (save it on your JotForm account), just hit the submit button found on the PDF form.
