I understand that I can send the data from my jotform to google sheets to create a spreadsheet.

I have set up a jotform that will go on my website. The idea is that when customers fill in the jotform, the data goes to google sheets. Am I able to define which cells the data goes to, as I have a spread sheet to fill in after every jotform and it would save me a huge amount of time if jotform sent the data to google sheets and I was able to select which fields each answer input should go to.

Also, I have google sheets open, but I cant see where the data from jotform goes?

Thank you for contacting us. Please note that we do not recommend to modify integrated spreadsheet or change it's settings as this can cause an integration to fail.

You may set up Google Spreadsheets integration following this guide: How-to-Integrate-Forms-with-Google-Sheets. This would create a new sheet on your Google account and you will receive a link when integration is completed.

After integration has created a sheet for submissions, you may connect that sheet to your own sheet one using IMPORTRANGE function to copy the data to it.

Hope this helps! But, please get back to us if you need further assistance.
