Encrypting existing form

Hi, i have recently done a form that I would like to encrypt - will this provide added security? I am a bronze account holder so i just want to confirm the security of the data on the existing form i have done up

All our forms and embed codes are secured by default. But, if you would like to add an extra layer of security, you can enable encryption for a form. Please note that only new responses will be encrypted, existing data will remain unencrypted. 

There are also several restrictions on how the data can be used with encrypted form. For example, form integrations, reports and email notifications are not supported for an encrypted form.
