How to get "Transaction ID" of PayPal payment submission?

Is there anyway to just show the transaction ID of a paypal payment made through Jotform?

I have tried using {Paypal:transactionid} as the field code but it did not work.

Also,

Meaning to say, we will be able to see their submission once they click submit.

Where exactly you have added this tag to get the transaction id? Please note that strip payment details only in email alert and I did check your form's notification & auto-responder email alert but could not locate this tag.

Is there any way to record submissions of applicant when they decides not to make payment through paypal.

Does the tag work on PDF too?

Please note that payment info tag will only work in email alert. If you want you can add a "Text" field in PDF document to add the payment tag but please note that it will display all the payer information. Please check the screenshot below:
