Is it possible to send confirmation email to user?

Hi-

Is is possible to have an Auto-reply that will let people know we have received their application and will get back to them soon?  Or do I always need to use the "Reply" feature?

Yes it is possible. You need to add "Form Auto-responder" email alert in form which will send a confirmation email to the user who submitted form.
