PDF editor: Is there an option to conditionally show/hide static elements such as texts and images?

I don't see a way to set the PDF document creator to not display headers and questions that were not displayed/answered. I have lots of logic in this form, https://form.jotform.com/83527105993160, so some sections of the form don't even display depending on previous answers. However, when the PDF is generated it shows all of the headers, even the ones that weren't displayed/answered, and several question labels and sublabels that weren't displayed/answered.

Please note that headers created from the text field can't be set to be automatically hidden in PDF reports. Only fields and labels of fields can be set as hidden when empty.

Could you please show us a screenshot of the field you are referring so we can check and see if we can provide you with the appropriate workaround/suggestions.

    Looking forward to your response.

Here are screenshots of the parts of the report that shouldn't have shown on this particular submission. I've put red boxes around the parts that shouldn't be on the report with red arrows pointing to them. In the case of the 2nd screenshot, the text fields (that never displayed for this submitter) appear on the report as well.

I checked the PDF report and the fields you showed us in the screenshots are indeed a text field. If you want to exclude it from PDF reports, you must manually delete it in the PDF reports.

The other workaround is to hide/show the text field based on your user's response on the web form.

I already hide/show or have an entire page skipped depending on the user's response or are you referring to another setting?

Apologies for any confusion. At the moment, within PDF editor, static elements such as images and texts can not follow the conditions added to form. If you would like to hide headers on PDF just in some cases, you can create multiple different PDF templates and to send them to users conditionally: How-to-Email-Different-PDF-Document-Templates-Based-on-Users-Answers

In those PDF templates, you should delete or add text elements manually.

I am also escalating a feature request so our devs considered adding conditional logic to PDF templates. We will inform you if this is implemented.

Our company would also find conditional logic in PDF templates very useful, thank you!

    Looking forward to this implementation.
