I have attempted to connect to my PayPal account many times and add this to my form. I follow all of the steps and get a confirmation that it was successfully added but then it says "failed" in the top field.
Please advise.

We're sorry for the inconvenience.
Could you please double-check the credentials you use and if those are PayPal checkout credentials.
If the issue persists, please share the console report when the issue occurs:

CourtneySReplied on July 23, 2019 at 1:43 PMWhat is the difference between PayPal and PayPal Standard? I was able to get it to work using the PayPal Standard but really prefer the look/action buttons that are included when I select the PayPal item from the payment selection list under form elements/payments.

You can check more about that here: https://www.simicart.com/blog/paypal-express-checkout-comparison/
PayPal Express Checkout is accessible in the same nations as PayPal Standard, and you’ll be charged the same 2.9% + 30¢ for every transaction with no setup or end expenses. PayPal Express Checkout is fundamentally the same to PayPal Standard with one noteworthy contrast: the checkout flow.
Also:
The only differences known between these two are:
1) Setting up in store:
Paypal Express Checkout requires more details to be added in store than PayPal Payments Standard which requires only email.
2) After the payment:
Paypal Express Checkout is sending the customers back on your store automatically, on finishorder.php
PayPal Payments Standard is sending the customers back only if you have the auto-return option set it up in your Paypal account.
If you're still experiencing a problem, please check with PayPal if your account is active and properly set.
Thank you!
