Also could you maybe pass this onto your developers to create some kind of reporting system similar to the one i create with excel. I understand that Jotform has statistics on how often a form is used along with IPs etc. But would it be possible to have a more in depth report that you can run (similar to exporting results into a csv file) but with the option to do it with a date range and based on a users input from a text field.

I have forwarded this to our back-end team. When the option to apply those type of filters(date range, user's selection or input, etc.) is implemented for Excel reports, you will be updated via this forum thread.

    Hello CPCForms,

After the latest updates on JotForm Sheets, you can download the filtered submissions as Excel or CSV reports.

I tested this issue on my side and the issue seems to be resolved.

    Excel:

    CSV:

Could you please check it again on your end? Please, let us know if you encounter any problem.

We'd be happy to help you if you need further assistance.

    Hi Lewis!

Can you please provide more information on how you would like to customize the CSV file? You can select which columns and date ranges are currently displayed on the Sheets page, which will also be downloaded as either Excel, CSV or PDF reports. All screenshots are showing sample data.

You can also use our Visual Reports tool to visualize responses to each individual question across multiple submissions. You can apply filters to only visualize responses for a specific date range, or whether certain checkboxes were selected:

    Hi Denis,

This looks like its going in the right direction! I have managed to find the visual reports tool but i cannot find the location of the first screenshot you sent, where can i find this? Also will using these tools effect how the forms are layed out?

I feel that these tools should be located under My forms -> 'View Submissions' on the menu when you click on the form.

    Kindest Regards,

    Lewis

    Hi CPCForms,

I have checked your submission page and it seems the Sheet feature (screenshot from my colleague Denis) is not enabled in your account.

Let me try to ask again to the assigned developer if its possible to enable this feature in your submission page.

We will get back to you once updates are available.

    Hi Ceren,

Looking good so far, the only thing i have noticed is that prepopulated fields (in my case 'Submission notification email' and 'Round code') are not displayed and these are the fields that we are most likely to use to filter the results.

    Kindest Regards,

    Lewis

To clarify, do you want to get the data for the submission notification email or the email address and "round code" to be filtered in the submission?

May we know the form in question?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to get the submission notification to be filtered, you may view the notification emails in your email logs.

    You may check this guide:https://www.jotform.com/help/293-How-to-View-All-Your-Form-Email-History

    Hi Richie,

All of the forms have have prepopulated fields for the "Submission Notification Email" and "Round Code".

When i am viewing submissions with the new submissions area, the results for these 2 fields are blank. However, when i export a .csv with the old submissions area, the report contains these prepopulated fields.

    I hope this makes sense?

    Kindest Regards,

    Lewis

I tested one of your form and those fields are still showing when you download the submissions in the sheet.

Download submissiosn as Excel, with the option to do it based on date range or users input Screenshot 20

May we know  the exact form you're trying to download the submission data?

    Hi Richie,

I have just gone to the new submissions area and the 2 fields i mentioned seem to have appeared!

Im not sure if this issue is still there as i don't know which form i viewed the submissions for.

Also with the Uploads section for the sheets area could your developers make it possible to add more fields to go with the uploads?

    Kindest Regards,

    Lewis
