    Please advise

    1) why my error messages are not working?

    2) the two hidden fields at the end are visible when live?

    3) I can't submit?

I am not sure what error messages you are talking about. Could you please provide more information? Upon checking your form, I don't see any custom error messages.

    2) the two hidden fields at the end are visible when live?

I moved this question to a different thread. Please follow this link: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1913281

    3) I can't submit?

This will be addressed in the thread https://www.jotform.com/answers/1913283

The error messages accompany the 'disable submit' conditions. There are 15 of them.

Just to confirm, are getting the error message all the time when you try to submit the form even when the Disable Submit button condition not met?

If yes, can you tell exactly what the message you are getting so we can check the condition related to that error?

    No Andrew

I am never seeing the error messages I have enabled in the 'conditions' as mentioned in the beginning.

If you look at the conditions you will see the 'enable/disable' feature accompanies an error message to prompt the user about how to fix the issue.

However, they are only visible in the 'PREVIEW' but once live the error messages are not visible.

    Please advise

If I understood your question correctly, you are saying that the conditional error messages are not showing once when the form is live?

But, I am not able to replicate the issue. The error message is showing correctly when the disable submit button condition is satisfied. Please see the screencast below:

Could you please tell at what case the error messages are not displaying?

    Hi Andrew

I cannot duplicate what you showed me above :-(

Some error messages are coming up but if I go backwards in the form they don't come up again. Others are not coming up at all. I tried a new browser, incognito etc...

Let us check them one by one in order to avoid any confusion. Can you name the condition that is not working as expected?

    Hi Victoria

    Thank you for your response.

I have 56 conditions. I am not a novice to Jotform but new to the CARD format. I have checked all conditions and if I could isolate the problem could probably fix it - which is why I am asking you for help.

As explained above the error messages are simply not coming up when live.

I also cannot submit but there is another thread trying to deal with this although without success so far.

One of the issues is that I keep getting new Jotform staff wanting me to repeat things. Which is unusual as you are all usually really good.

Here is a link to the live version on my website https://www.dogadoption.org.au/surrender-a-pet.html

    Please have a look.

The error messages are NOT working and users cannot submit.

Tried all the usual trouble shooting - new browser, cleared history etc.....

Okay, I have now cloned your form for testing and checked few cases.

    Here is what I got:

CARD form: conditional error messages not working Image 1 Screenshot 20

The payment integration was removed on my form to make sure that 'disable submit' conditions do work. If there is a payment error, it takes advantage over conditional error, so that may be the problem.

Also, what do you mean by 'once LIVE'? Is the form embedded to any web page? I have tested cloned form using direct link, not preview mode of form builder.

    Hi again

Yes the form is embedded on my website - the link I have already provided.

    Thank you for testing it.

Are you saying the reason is it not submitting is due to the payment integration only?

    Here is the console report.

I have tested your form and it seems the payment error over shadows the submit error.

    Screenshot:

and when I click on the previous button, the submit error message shows.

In a way, the conditions are correct and they are being triggered. But we cannot combine both error messages to show.

However, if you're not seeing this errors in your webpage.

Can you please try re-embedding your form using the Iframe code?

    Guide:https://www.jotform.com/help/148-Getting-the-Form-iFrame-Code

Please give it a try and let us know if the issue still remains.
