I am wanting to configure a dynamic price list but need some direction if it is possible.  I would like a customer to :

enter the number of rooms and name them.

For each room the same set of questions would be asked : age children and number of children, multiple check list of items

at the end it would provide an equipment list and overall pricelist

Please check my demo form: https://form.jotform.com/92316182535961

Is that what you're trying to create? If yes, you can add the Configurable List widget to your form. You can also check the guide for more information on how to set it up. Here's the link: https://www.jotform.com/help/282-How-to-Set-Up-the-Configurable-List-Widget

If I misunderstood your question, please let us know. Also, if you have a sample form that we can check so we can understand what you're trying to create, that would be helpful.

thanks  I think that is along the line of what i am trying to do and could be adapted.  I have put in a couple of images here  1st image shows the type of questions per room and the second shows the summary or price list shown depending on the answers

You may check which are the available field types on the Configurable List widget on this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/282-How-to-Set-Up-the-Configurable-List-Widget

Now, it's not possible to perform calculations based on the selected options on the widget, I'm afraid that if you want to have calculations, you will need to get rid of the widget and instead implement a different workaround.

First, you will need to set up the group of fields using the section collapse, then use conditional logic to show the set of fields according to the user's selection, you may use either a drop down, check box, or a text box to ask the user the number he wants to register. As the last step you will need to perform the calculations.

Here are some guides that will help you with this:

    - About the available form fields: https://www.jotform.com/help/46-Quick-Overview-of-Form-Fields

    - Showing and hiding elements according to user's selection using the section collapse: https://www.jotform.com/help/297-Show-or-Hide-Multiple-Fields-at-Once-Using-the-Section-Collapse-Field

    - Performing calculations: https://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-Perform-Form-Calculation-Using-a-Widget

Please kindly check these guides and let us know if you have questions.
