You can set up this condition in your Form.

This calculation is for people attending classes is equal to 4. The calculation I have set up like this:

Number of cookeryclasses*(Number of people-1)* Cookery radio option

How do I set a product free based on selection of the value? Image 10

Do you want to do it just for the 4th quantity or if the quantity selected is more than 4?

    Here is a Demo Form:

    Feel free to test it.

    Thanks.

Only if they book 4 then it should only charge for 3.

Then the suggested solution in my previous post should work. Please configure the condition as shown in the above post. When you select 4 quantity then it will only charge you for the 3 items. Please give it a try in my cloned Form.

    Thanks.

Basically if someone selects 4 cookery classes they get the 4th one free. So if one person books 4 classes for 1 person attending they only pay for three. If one person books 4 classes for2 people attending then the 4th one is free So if4 classes for 2 people instead of being 160 it should be £120
    Does that make sense

May I verify if you're referring to the "Select classes you would like to book" checkbox field? Or are you referring to the "Number of Cookery class attended" dropdown field?

It is because that the formula in the Form Calculation widget is using the "Number of Cookery class attended" dropdown field which is a different question.

So the idea is to deduct the amount of 1 class to the total depending on the number selected class and selected people.

I'm not sure if you're aware that we can assign calculation values on the checkbox field and dropdown field. Here's how: https://www.jotform.com/help/301-How-to-Assign-Calculation-Value.

Please confirm so that we can try creating a workaround using conditions or calculations.

    We'll wait for your reply.

Hello so here is what needs to happen.
If person selects 4 classes, they only pay for 3 classes (so pay £60 instead of £80)
If person selects 8 classes, they only pay for 6 classes (pay £120 instead of £160)
Also if it is more than one person, for example 2, then the price should reflect the above but for 2 people and so on.
    Could you kindly advise

    Hello Perry,

We will try to create a sample form for you. Can you please clarify the following.

If person selects 4 classes, they only pay for 3 classes (so pay £60 instead of £80)
If person selects 8 classes, they only pay for 6 classes (pay £120 instead of £160)

What if number of people attending is 1 and classes selected is 5, will they still get 1 free?

    The above is correct yes.

if one person attends 5 they pay for 4 (£80)

if one person buys all 8 they only pay for 6

Additionally if number of people is 2 or more they should still get the discounts.  for example 2 people book all 8 classes it should be £240.

the discount should always apply if bookings ar higher than 4 for 1 person or 5 people

I've added a discount field in my cloned version here https://form.jotform.com/92524009776967. The discount is only calculating for 2 people only.

Please confirm if the calculation is ok with 2 people and if discount is applied / calculated correctly. We'll proceed with the rest once you confirm that the formula is good with 2 people selected.

    Looking forward for your response.
