Is there a way to "approve" submission?

I have a form of letters that our employees will be given to the receptionist. This form will be the "log". I'm trying to see if there is a way that once the employee fills the form and go to the receptionist she could approve that those letters were given to her.

Yes, it is possible. After the employee fills out the form and the letters are received by the receptionist, the receptionist can edit the submission, select "Approved" in a field that will only be visible to them and then click Submit again. You can set up notification and autoresponder emails to be sent out to the manager and the employee informing them that the letters have been received.
