How to perform calculation with configurable list?

I am using configurable list to gather quantities and I want to add the quantities together for a grand total with the form so that it can be reported correctly upon submission.

I'm afraid that this is not possible, we do not support calculations for Configurable List widget fields.

You can try using an Input Table instead. Please refer to this guide on Calculate-Values-in-the-Input-Table-Through-Condition.
