I have a form which initially has some questions hidden which the user completes. On receiving the email to complete more details a link is provided within the email taking them here - see below. Sometimes the previous details are prefilled but sometimes not. On this occasion the form did not prefill. We have been having alot of problems with this - Jotform has not been able to provide an answer. My friend previously tried to explain as he has more technical knowledge but has given up. What do you suggest?
On the previous occasion today I was this link for a submission I made and it worked - what is the difference?

As I checked the two links, some fields are left blank by the one who submitted the form:
These fields can be left blank since they were not set to REQUIRED in the form, which means a user can submit the form without even filling out some data.
I would suggest setting some fields as required to prevent them from submitting blank data on a form. Here's a guide on How-to-Set-a-Field-as-Required-or-Non-Required

No, I'm sorry but the point has been totally missed. I have submitted the form on both these occasions to test the form. In both form submission attempts I filled out dummy data except my email. In the first example -all the data that I previously filled in does not show - I intentionally did not fill every part of the form but just the first part in most cases to test.
In the second link I put above - I did the same thing but the details I input do show when I click the link for further information. I am trying to work out why the pre-fill function works sometimes and not others. It has been really frustrating trying to get help with this. Sorry.

Thank you for the additional information.
I have made a test submission with your form. I then received the pre-populated URL. However, when I clicked the link. Some data in the address field is missing.
And then I was able to see where the issues are. It's how the fields are arranged in the URL.
So here's the link I received (incomplete data is shown):
And here's the link I re-arranged (complete data is shown):
As you can see the difference is that, in the first link, the address fields were placed at the last part of the URL, where in fact, it should be placed next to the NAME field, as shown in the second link.

Okay, so my problem is that these links are automatically generated by jotform? Or now that you have rearranged the URL - is this permanently fixed?

Seems to have worked. I will try 3 more times! Hopefully, we are there!

Yes. I believe that should work.
Let us know if you still encountered an error after a few tests so we could check further.

I tried making a test submission again to your form and here's the link I received:
It has all the data I entered.
But let me conduct further tests again and provide you an updated URL shortly.

I can see that you have made changes to your form so you have to update the URL as well to match the fields, and that the URL I provided you will no longer work. Every time you made changes to the form especially adding, deleting, modifying or renaming fields, you should update the URL as well.
Let me send you an updated URL shortly.
Also, you may refer to this link to create one: https://prepopulate.jotform.io/
