This does not give the whole instructions. You have to match the calculation values under OPTIONS > CALCULATION VALUES in the form builder right side admin panel.

I can see that you are referring to the ASSIGN CALCULATION VALUE feature on Single Choice fields, which is another workaround aside from the one indicated in this guide that uses CONDITION LOGIC instead.

Either of the two may work depending on your form's needs.
