    Good Morning,

I have successfully gotten my form to be saved and returned to by users but whenever they upload a file the file disappears upon returning to the form.  Is there a way to keep files saved as well?

    Hi,

Could you please share the form link so we can test it?

To my understanding, the File Upload field is not saving the uploaded file when using the Save Form and Continue Later feature.

    We'll wait for your reply.

Please try enabling the Required field to the File Upload field. In this way, no one will skip the File Upload field.

After that, please test it and let us know if the issue still persists.

Yes it does because it also wasn’t saving on the items that were listed as
    required.

It seems you may have just enabled the auto fill in the form. This will not save the uploaded files in your account.

I would suggest you use the save and continue session or edit link.

Save input data in session: User can save the input data in the session that is stored in our server. Please be noted that this feature requires should have the "Page Break" field. The data is saved only on the click of the next button.

The following guide should help you:  http://www.jotform.com/help/97-How-to-Save-Forms-to-Continue-Later

You can allow users to return to edit their submission in an email autoresponder.  Here is our guide on how to do so:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/40-How-to-Let-Users-Update-Their-Form-Submissions-at-a-Later-Date

The edit emailed link will allow users to return to their specific submission at any time to update their data.

Please check it out and let us know how it goes.

Which form are you referring to?

Can you please provide a name of a submission and an edit link, where this issue occurs?

Please provide some submissions, so we can further investigate.

We will wait for your response.

    Hi,

Please check @Richie_P's reply. I checked your form and there's no Page Break which needed to save the data or the uploaded file when continuing the form for later.

If the user just closes the form, only the data will be saved and not the uploaded files if you do not have Page Break with the session link.
