I did not have the payment form required to submit, and they submitted fine, but the payment, which is linked to square did not go through. I made it required and now it is refusing to submit.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to replicate the issue on my end. Could you please authorize us to send a submission/payment to your LIVE form? I can see that there's a coupon field in your form. Kindly grant us a code that will get us a total of $0.01 for us to proceed.

I have tried sending a submission to the form with test credit card number and see that there is an invalid card error message as it should. The form seems to be working fine. Could you try testing the form again and let us know if that works normally? Please let us know if there is any error message displayed while submitting the form. If so, please provide us with the exact error message so that we can check further to assist you.
