Hi,
I'm currently working on redesigning and migrating a website for a client (wojrc.org) that is currently using https://www.jotform.us/form/50297203542147
However, they've lost the contact info of the person who originally created it. While we can still embed this into our new website, we'd like to modify the email address that receives the form submission.
Is there a way you can send me a copy of that code and then I sign up for a new jotform account and use the same form with minor edits and then I embed this new form onto the new website?
Thanks,
Judy

Hello Judy - If you can't contact or not able to reach the owner of that form then you can just clone it. Please refer to the guide below how.
Guide: How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL
After that, you can change the email recipient for the notification by following this guide: How-to-Change-the-Email-Address-Used-for-Notification-Email
Let us know if that could work.

I got "Unauthorized request. You do not have access to this form"
Will you be able to help me with this?
Thanks,
Judy

Hello @tokara - It seems that the user who created the form has enabled the "Do not allow my forms to be cloned by other users" on his Account Settings -> Privacy page. I would recommend contacting the owner of the form so he can disable the privacy feature.

tokaraReplied on March 10, 2020 at 1:29 PMIf I could find the owner of this form I would have done so. This form has
been carried over by multiple developers that have left their companies
(possibly with different domains in their email than wojrc.org). Is there
any other way I can get to the code?
Thanks,
Judy

Unfortunately, you need to contact the form owner to give you access to the forms. There's no workaround for this.
Upon checking the form, you can create a form like that easily. First, I suggest checking this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/2-How-to-Create-Your-First-Web-Form
After that, just copy the fields of the form you want to clone. If you got stuck creating your form, please contact us and we will assist you.
