You can use the Unique Question feature to prevent duplicate/multiple submissions.
How to set Form Limits Based on a Unique Question
To limit the users to one submission per day, you will need to combine the data from two fields, pass it to a third field and set that field as the Unique Question.
You can use the Date and Email field. The Date field should show the current date and can be hidden. You will then need to pass data from both fields to a Short Text Entry field with conditional logic. This field can be hidden.
How to Insert Text or Calculation into a Field Using Conditional Logic

Feel free to test it and clone it.
On my form, date and Unique Question field are visible, but you can hide them on your form.
