augustineclassicalAsked on March 23, 2020 at 9:22 AMHow do I save a submission PDF doc AND submission Excel Doc to my Dropbox?
Currently, I have integrated DB to my Form, but it saves the submissions like this... {DE Contract}> Term Answer
I tested it and the submissions are saved as "Fall 2020", "Fall 2020 (1)".... I want the PDF & Excel file to be the {Student Name}, not Fall 2020(1), Fall 2020(2), Fall 2020(3)
** I believe I've watched/read so many articles/videos/FAQs/blog posts that I've completely confused myself!!! I honestely have to say, that I was impressed with your
customer support replies that I have read! Good Job!

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
After checking your form I was able to clone your form, I have integrated my Dropbox account and the result is the following.
Guide: Upload-to-Dropbox-with-JotForm.
As you can see the integration is saving the images of the signatures and the PDF that I enable from the notification settings.
Could you please confirm if you are passing the form submission to the DB then integrating it to Dropbox.
If you need any further assistance, please let us know. We will be happy to help.

(1) I'm sure if this is what you need.... The submission PDF's are saving in my DB correctly (not sure I really want the initials saved) The problem is that each submission is being named:
DE Contract > Term folder > Fall 2020
DE Contract > Term folder > Fall 2020 (1)
DE Contract > Term folder > Fall 2020 (2) ............etc....
I would like for the saved submission PDF's saved as the following
DE Contract > Term folder > {student name}
(2) I want the submission data saved as an Excel file in my DB as well

Hello,
Thank you for your message and sorry for the confusion.
In this case, the integration with DB will give you the option to create folders with the student name, for example.
In order to do that, please go to the Dropbox integrator > Click on Edit > click on the pencil icon, here you can select the new folder identification.
As you can see the right now the integrator doesn't have the option to change the name on the PDF, but you can create one folder per student name with the signatures and the submission.
If you need any further assistance, please let us know. We will be happy to help.
