Gmail: When I mark the wrongly classed emails as "NOT SPAM", they do go back into the inbox but then shortly afterward revert back to the SPAM folder

I've done all those steps and email from certain clients ALWAYS ends up in the SPAM folder. Seems like GMAIL filters work well except for the "NEVER SEND IT TO SPAM" filter...that just doesn't seem to work.

Also, if I mark the wrongly classed emails as "NOT SPAM", they do go back into the inbox but then shortly afterward revert to the SPAM folder. Is anyone else having this same issue?

    Hello Michael,

You can set up Gmail to never send a mail from a specific email address to the Spam folder.

    Here are the steps:

    1 - Click on Settings

You must go to the settings section and modify the filters, right where it says "never send SPAM" and thus all emails will be in the main section of your tray.

Ive done all that, it doesnt work.  In addition, when I go to spam and mark as Not Spam, it goes into the In box for a short while then ends up back in spam.  Gmail is broken...Sent from my mobile device.  Please excuse any typos and brevity!

We currently have the same issue. We have (1) email that always goes to spam, it shows up in the inbox then disappears to the spam folder. I have followed the steps to create a filter but it still goes to spam. Is there a fix available?
