Zoom Integration: the option to control Registration whether to check or uncheck it by default

    We have our form now successfully integrated with zoom and g calendar which is very nice.  We just have some requests about the zoom integration:

    Is it possible to:

    1) Have the registration required setting OFF. (it automatically books with that setting on)

     

    2) Have the meeting password setting ON (it books it with no password)

    I'm sorry, but I need a little more information regarding this question. Are you asking to control the meeting within the form, like, toggle On/Off? Or, are you asking to let users control how they should register like if they select On, it registers them to the event and if Off, it will not register them?

    As for the password, do you want users to set a password?

    Hi Welvin,

    I meant that when integrating with Zoom, certain settings seem to be defaulted for each Zoom meeting.  So when the person submits their booking through the jotform, and they go in to Zoom, they'll always see the setting "Registration - required" checked.  But we don't want that setting checked.

    The other setting that is defaulted in Zoom when we submit a jotform is the Meeting password is unchecked.  We want it checked.

    To clarify, do you want to be able to change some Zoom settings in the integration?

    Currently, it is not possible to change any settings in the integration.

    You  may only match fields with Zoom.

    We may forward a feature request to our developers. Do note that we cannot give an ETA when this feature would be added or will be passed.

    Can you please share the settings that you would like to change using the integration aside from the Registration - required" checked?

    The defaulted settings in Zoom are that Registration is not required, but when jotform integrates it turns that on for some reason.

    So the two settings we'd like to change using the integration:

    1) Registration - required- off

    2) Meeting password - reguired - on

    I have now raised this ticket to our developers as a feature request for the Registration option with Zoom.
