Is there a workaround for altering submission date on single order/submission?

    Hi there,

My client has an order form for fruit/veg and one of his customers orders the same list every week. Is there a way to change the submission date on his existing order so it can be moved to the current week – thus being in the current export?

I have tried a few workarounds from the forums/blog on a test form, but am yet to find one that works. Even if I my client could just duplicate the order so it fell into the current export date range.

    Cheers Kristin

Unfortunately it is not possible to change the submission data of the submissions that you have already received in form. It will capture the date/time when the form was first submissions. With a little workaround, it is possible to achieve your requirement. Here are the steps that needs to be followed:

#1. Add form auto-responder email alert in form.

#2. Edit the auto-responder email template and add a link in to populate the same form with the user's data. The following guide should help you how to pass the data from one form to another form / same form automatically: https://www.jotform.com/help/351-How-to-Automatically-Pass-Form-Data-to-Another-Form

#3. The text for the above link which you build should be something link "Check here to order same products again" or something similar.

When user submit form, they will receive auto-responder email with a clickable link. Clicking on the link, the same form will open with all the data that you have configured to be prepopulated. When form is submitted, new order will be created and the same process of email being sent will be followed to complete order for next week.

    Hope this helps.
