JotForm widgets: Ability to disable the entry to widget fields using conditions

I reviewed the article, A General Approach to Building an Approval Process Workflow, but it doesn't appear to work for this type of object.

Is it possible to prevent changes on the Dynamic Dropdown Widget?

This is due to 'Read Only' is not the option for the widget field properties. For the basic form fields, you can see that the option 'Read Only' in the Advanced tab of field properties and the same is not available for widget fields. This may not have been added since most of the widgets are loaded using iFrame method.

Let me forward the thread to our backend team as a feature request for evaluation.

As a workaround, you may consider hiding the widgets on the form and use a Paragraph field on the form to display the values selected on the Dynamic Dropdown widget.

I was working on that exact workaround when you posted.  I'm now hiding the dynamic dropdown and showing a paragraph field based on text from the Get Form Page URL widget.
