Is there an option for PayPal that would allow for automatic renewals?

I've looked through the different PayPal options but can't find that option - which paypal calls subscriptions. Am I missing it or is it not available on a JotForm?

As for your concern, you can switch the PayPal payment field in your account from selling products to selling subscriptions by changing its Payment Type settings.

The option is available only on the following PayPal payment fields.
