Form Validation: Option to automatically scroll back to the required field that was left unanswered when submit button is clicked

I have identified one entry in the middle of the form as a “required” entry. If I get to the bottom and hit the “SUBMIT” button without filling in that required field, nothing happens. The empty field error is highlighted in red, but since it is in the middle of the form and not on my screen, I am not aware of the fact that nothing happened. Any way to flag that and put it in the field of vision?

By default, this will be the warning message shown right below the submit button when there's a REQUIRED field that was left unanswered:

There are errors on the form. Please fix them before continuing.

The user should need to go scroll back up or go back to the previous pages to look for the field highlighted in red.

Now, if you mean you would like the form to automatically scroll back to the unfilled required fields, there's no option for that at the moment.

Let me endorse this instead as a feature request to our developers. Though I may not able to provide you assurance or ETA for this, we'll keep you posted here once this gets implemented in the future.
