Can I upload information from a spreadsheet?

Is there a way to start a form from an excel spreadsheet or do I have to build the form manually?

Unfortunately, it's not possible to convert a form from Excel. It is only feasible to convert a PDF form into a PDF Fillable Form.

However, if you refer to repopulating a form using the information on a spreadsheet, you can use the Spreadsheet to Form widget. The Spreadsheet to Form widget allows you to upload your spreadsheet to your form and use the values you have on the spreadsheet to pre-populate the existing fields on your form: how-to-use-the-spreadsheet-to-form-widget
