Tables: Option to delete submissions permanently (bypass Trashed Entries)

You asked me why I don't like the new UI when I turned it off. This is why. And even with the old UI I'm now finding it difficult to find out where the files are that I need to delete, in order to not run out of space. I find it confusing and annoying. Twice this week now I'm faced with being out of space, despite having tried to delete uploaded files.

It was never this difficult. I used to just delete submissions and the attachments went with them. Now I'm pecking and hunting for files I thought I deleted.

How do I delete files that have been drop boxed with our order forms? It needs to be easier, and this is a new issue, and no, I do not need to upgrade my plan.

    thanks

Hello Scott - We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. I checked your account and it seems you already managed to delete the submissions/uploaded files.

The new submissions (tables) are designed to temporarily store deleted submissions to what we call "Trashed Entries". Entries saved on this location automatically get deleted after 30 days. This is so you can still recover submissions that were accidentally deleted.

I hope I've been of any help.

Thank you! I thought I had succeeded in deleting those yesterday. I started
getting notices and deleted my submissions online. I then went out and
started getting notices on my phone. This confused me, because I had
deleted the submissions, then I remembered this new interface, and I had
had the same issue before. But still, even having had the issue once, I
couldn't find that "Trashed Entries" in the menu, so I chose the option to
go back to the old interface. After I went to the old interface, I deleted
what submissions were there, but it certainly wasn't enough to fill my
quota. Then today I got the notice again, but looking at my account, it
    showed that I had space.
I get that being able to go back and get deleted items might be a nice
feature, but for me it's just been causing jotform to fill up, and it's
accompanied by email and popups to upgrade in order to solve the issue. I
don't need to upgrade. If I did I certainly would, but the number of forms
I use and the number of submissions I get fit my current plan fine, with
plenty of room to spare. All I really need is for jotform to continue to be
    awesome and host my forms.
Perhaps that the UI could be improved so that finding trashed trashed
attachments isn't so hard to find.
    thanks so much

Understood. Let me forward a feature request to our developers to have an option to permanently delete submissions right away just like in the old version. Though we cannot give you an ETA, rest assured you'll be informed here of any updates.
