If I sign up for the the $14.99 package can I upgrade at a later date?

Hi,
Thank you for contacting us.
Your account will be upgraded at the time when you upgrade and complete the payment for the upgrade subscription.
Unfortunately, if you want to pay the subscription now, and take the actual upgrade into use later, I'm afraid that is not possible.
After upgrading to for example the Bronze plan, if you want to downgrade or upgrade your account to another plan; such as upgrading to the Silver plan, or downgrading back you free, you can do that any time.

Hi,
You can most definitely stay on the Free package.
The main difference between the free and the paid account plans are space limitations; for example, the Free plan allows you to create up to 5 forms, and receive up to 100 submissions per month.
If you expect to get less than 100 submissions to your forms monthly, I'm sure the Free plan will be enough for you. If you would run close to reaching your account limitations, the JotForm system will notify you about it beforehand.
If the Free plan is enough for your needs, you can stay on it as long as you want. You can compare the different account limitations here: https://www.jotform.com/pricing/
