We have emailed many times re our form not converting correctly into a PDF document.  Please see the template at https://form.jotform.co/byronbaybuilding/property-inspection-report which is perfect.

When we have filled in a report and click on 'download' it throws everything out eg, it is not in the order of the template. (I have attached file/report)

You have sent us links to attempt to help us but it is too confusing.

Please just work out why the template is not converting correctly to PDF. Please do not send any more links just tell us why it is not working.

We are paying $18 per month for nothing and it is affecting our business.

Your prompt response would be much appreciated.

    Warmest

    Allegra

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience. I have checked the form you have linked and to my understanding, you are referring to the format of the PDF document that is generated for your form submissions.

Using a cloned version of your form I have noticed the following Paragraph elements missing on the PDF Document.

The Paragraph element in my screenshot above (STEPS) is missing in between PATHS & DRIVEWAYS and GENERAL FENCING.

Also, this Paragraph element (SURFACE WATER) is missing in between SWIMMING POOL FENCING and AREAS UNABLE TO BE ACCESSED:

These elements are not showing on the PDF Document since it was not present in the PDF Document created for your form submissions. You can easily insert the missing elements on the PDF Editor page of your form. The Paragraph elements, like the other fields in your form, can be found under the Form Fields tab as well and can be dragged into the PDF Document.

Please give it a try and let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Hello Matthew,

Sorry, but we do not provide phone support.

Please create a new PDF document on your PDF Editor and all form fields will automatically update as per their position:

Do try this and let us know the update.

What is the difference between the online form and the PDF form?

You create a PDF form from the online form as explained here: https://www.jotform.com/help/212-how-to-create-a-pdf-form. They contain blank form fields. But there are restrictions as few widget fields are not compatible with PDF and hence when you convert the online form to PDF form, those widget fields will not appear on the PDF form.

However, you have another feature called PDF document on the PDF Editor as shown in my last screenshot. This contains your form submission/responses/data and it will not look exactly like your online or PDF form. It will contain only the question labels and their responses in the order in which you have setup.

    I hope this clarifies.
