Creating a deal using the ActiveCampaign Integration

Hi there, I am trying to create a deal within ActiveCampaign using the integration, but it won't work. I think it requires a contact or account id to match to, but that is not requested. The test integration won't resolve and while my Contact creation integration works the deal one doesn't. ActiveCampaign says their API will send the contact ID back but how does Jotform connect this to the deal so that it can be parsed back to ActiveCampaign to send the deal?

I've checked your form, and I can't seem to find any issue with your current setup. Can you please try creating a new deal to see if that'll make any difference.

If the issue still persists, please try to reintegrate the active campaign by removing and adding it back.

Hi Lorenz_A, thanks for your reply. Where should I be creating a new deal? By submitting a new JotForm? There have been three submissions since this integration was set up. The contact has been created each time but not the corresponding deal. I think it is because there is no contact Id to if the deal to. There is nowhere to do that in the integration.

I have tried deleting the deal integration and setting it up again, to no avail.

Or do you mean creating a deal in ActiveCampaign?

I checked your integration and it looks like your current Deal setup is fine.

However, checking your form, I can see that the Currency field is a Single Choice field which may cause some issue in mapping to your Currency field in Active Campaign.

Since you already have submissions in your form, I suggest you add another Currency field in your form and use a Short Text field for it. Then use that new field in your Active Campaign mapping.

If the issue persists, please share a screenshot of your Active Campaign fields that shows the field/data type.

In any case, it would be ideal if the fiel/data type in your JotForm is the same field/data type in your Active Campaign.

Great, thanks heaps. Changing that field to text, as well as another one (Value - which was sending an alphanumeric instead of a number) has fixed it. Do you know if it is possible to parse more than just the five fields available for the deal sync? There are a few others it would be good to share across from the form to the deal.

I checked Active Campaign's Deal maker and there is not much in there.

Can you please let us know what other details you would like to pass to Active Campaign? Please share some screenshots whenever possible.
