I see that jotform is HIPAA secure but then see an option for pay a monthly fee or "hippa compliance" this confuses me. Does your site have privacy and security built in, which adhere to the federal guidelines?

    Hello @wires.sarah,

Thank you for contacting JotForm Support.

Please note that all JotForm accounts are served across a protected 256 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection that uses a SHA256 Certificate. You can read more about the general JotForm Security via this link - https://www.jotform.com/security/

However, if you will be processing protected health information (PHI) and your forms to be served from a HIPAA-protected server, then an account upgrade will be necessary. Only our Silver and Gold subscriptions have the ability to enable HIPAA compliance.

You can learn more about how to enable JotForm's HIPAA compliance via this link - https://www.jotform.com/help/500-how-to-upgrade-to-hipaa-compliance

Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns, we are always happy to help.
