HIPPA forms - email copy

Hello, I just converted my forms to HIPPA compliant, and now my emails (even to the client) are hiding all information - including the PDF copy that should go along with it.

I need help ASAP as my technicians are using this now and my clients are not receiving their information!

    Hi,

To show form fields to your email, you need to unprotect the form fields by following this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/518-how-to-set-phi-fields-on-your-forms

Please try it and let us know if you need further help. Thank you!

    One more question.
We sometimes get duplicate emails back from tickets done on previous days. Can you help with this?

    Hi Jacob,

Is the form embedded on a website? If not, please try adding a Captcha field to your form to avoid getting a duplicate submission. Here's a guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/205-how-to-add-a-captcha-field

It is not embedded. My technicians just use the links right now.
Should I still add a Captcha?

    Greetings,

Yes, as mentioned by my colleague, you can try adding a Captcha field to your form to avoid getting a duplicate submission. Related guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/205-how-to-add-a-captcha-field

Our system will prevent duplicate submission, but sometimes a duplicate submission can be registered when the thank you page of the form is reloaded. So if this is the case, the workaround is to add Captcha field to your form (preferred), or redirect the user to external link, i.e. Your web page. This should prevent duplicates caused by reloaded thank you page.

If you want to prevent another submission from the responders. You can try use Unique Question method to limit the user from submitting the Form. Related guide:https://www.jotform.com/help/223-How-to-set-Form-Limits-Based-on-a-Unique-Question You may target the email address or the client name of the responder so that they cannot use the form.

Hope this information helps. Let us know if you have further questions.

    Regards.
