Application attachments

    When a form is submitted with attachments uploaded, it is my understanding that the attachments cannot be previewed by the user as they are “pre-uploaded” and cannot be accessed by anyone else until the form or session is submitted. Am I to understand that there is no way to identify/track if an attachment as been included or pre-uploaded prior to the form being submitted by Jotform technical staff?

    May we confirm if you want to know if a file is uploaded even before submitting the form?

    Unfortunately, we don't have an option to identify or track if a client uploaded a file without the form being submitted.

    Thank you for your response. My concern is about receiving a confirmation email that only showed 2 out of 5 attachments being included with a form submission. Once the form submitted, you can then identify if the user attached documents that failed to show in the confirmation email?
    If the confirmation email shows only 2 of 5 does that mean that the other 3 attachments will not be visible to the form recipient?

    Actually I was a user of a form and submitted the form with 5 attachments however only 2 out of the 5 were shown in the confirmation email that I sent. This occurred on March 3rd. I’m interested in knowing if despite the confirmation email not showing the missing attachments were they actually received with the submission or not? What information would you need from me to be able to tell?

    I was able to trace the form you are referring to and it looks like all the attachments should be attached in the PDF.

    I suggest you to contact the form's owner for proper confirmation.
