calculating the total amount of time required to shoot the job, according to multiple Products ordered

(this is a photography application)

My Form calculates the total due according to various products ordered and auto generates PayPal invoices, and allows client to schedule Date and Time for the job, all integrated with Google calendars. That all works great.

The problem is that depending on the products ordered, multiple products will require differing lengths of time for me to shoot the job. So I need a way to calculate the total time required for me to shoot the job, so that data can be auto-factored into scheduling

I don't see how I can input those varying time values per product

maybe I could do this with multiple choice field? ...but would that connect to PayPal Invoicing?

I would assume you also have a fixed price for the type of shoot.

If yes, since you need to calculate different items based on the product/shoot selected, then I suggest you list out your products using regular fields (eg: Multiple Choice, Single Choice, Dropdown).

Then you can assign the price as calculation values and calculate the total using the Form Calculation widget.

You should then pass the calculated total price to your payment field.

As for the time, you for each product/shoot, you need to add a dummy field (Short Text field), then create a condition that will populate the appropriate Short Text field if the corresponding shoot is selected.

Then add a calculation field to sum up all those dummy fields.
