    Hello, there:

I created a great pdf using your form:

    https://www.jotform.com/pdf-editor/212665786341159?submission=5083352836324313532

However, I need to send it to my customer for Esignature, and also we need to sign it. But i can't find a way to sign it and also send it to my customer for signing.

    Can you please help?

How do enable e-signing for my customers of the pdf?

    Thank you.

What you can do is have your drivers sign it first by submitting the form. Then have it attach via email notification using the PDF attachment feature https://www.jotform.com/help/503-how-to-include-submissions-as-pdf-attachment-in-the-email-notifications/.

Once you have the PDF in your notification with your driver's signature, you can follow the suggestion in this blog post on how to sign the PDF https://www.jotform.com/blog/how-to-add-a-signature-to-a-pdf/.

I hope that helps. Let us know if you have any questions or if you need further assistance.

The only problem with this is that the driver is signing something they
have not yet read. The form does not contain all the terms and conditions
because it’s just an application. But when we approve them we have to send
them the terms and conditions and they must read that agree and sign. I
cannot attach their signature to that before they read it.

Jotform has an approval workflow which I think would help in your driver application form.

The flow would be like this:

1). Driver fills up the application form and submit

2). Since you have the approval workflow enabled (in this example), you will receive an email to either approve or deny the application.

3). If you click on approve, it will trigger an email that attached a PDF agreement which was already pre-signed by you.

The last part will be the Driver to sign it and sends back the signed PDF to you after agreeing to the terms and condition.

If that workflow sounds good to you, kindly can check on Jotform's approval workflow here https://www.jotform.com/help/432-a-general-approach-on-building-an-approval-process-workflow/

Ok, I understand how to do 1 and 2. Can you help me with 3? I know how to
click approve, but how do I attach the signed PDF (by me) and then request
    signing of it from them?

I am assuming that you checked the guide (https://www.jotform.com/help/432-a-general-approach-on-building-an-approval-process-workflow/) that my colleague suggested.

Here's a screencast guide and check the written guide below:

    HI Jed,
Is there a way for us to fill out the form and have it populate into the
    pdf, instead of the Driver?

    Hi Jed,
    Can you tell me:
    1) Does the driver need to submit their signature with the form, before the
pdf is generated? Or can the driver sign the pdf when the approval is
    granted?
    2) At what point do I the manager affix my signature?
    Thanks,

    Hello,

    So for your last questions:

You can get all the Information that the driver filled into the form onto the PDF automatically. I do not understand why you want to fill out the form?

The driver will be sent an email after you click the Accept or Deny button when the notification of the filled out application form reaches your inbox. This email will include the PDf and you can ask the driver to sign it and return it to you.

    Here is the flow again:

    1. Driver fills out application
    2. you get the approval email
    3. you approve (and sign)
    4. an automated email with the signed (by You) PDF will be sent to the driver
    5. Driver signs PDF and returns it to you.

Are these the steps in the correct order?

    Hi Dagmar,
These steps are correct. However, in step 3, when we approve and sign, we
need to add information such as
    VEHICLE INFORMATION
    RATE
    TAX
    Pick up Date
    Expected return date, etc.
    Total Cost
Then we can approve the form and sign and send for signature.
After driver submits form, is there any way for us to add the above
information in the form or the PDF. Driver needs to know the details we
    set.
Do you have a work-around solution?

    Hello there,

I have cloned your form and created an approval flow. I added in the form, the field you wrote in the previous reply and as you can see I can review the form submissions (this means approve and sign or reject the submission )

    Will this work for you?
