Setting up a complicated Approval Workflow

    Hello,

I am working on setting up a complicated approval workflow for one of my forms and I have a few questions.

    1. When setting up a conditional branch, it is possible to choose more than one option on branches? I essentially have 13 people that need to all go to the same place once approved, but I can only choose one option.
    2. Is there a way to freeze the workflow? I set it up clearly on my screen, but when I navigate away from the screen it shuffles the workflow and it's a mess when I return.

This one is a beast, so I'm looking for ways to simplify.

    Thanks so much!

    @URPTHumanResources

    Thank you for reaching out.

If you would like to add different outcome options to your Conditional beach, you can do so by selecting the approval, clicking to edit, and adding a new outcome. However, If I understand you correctly, one branch can only have one outcome.

Once you have placed your approval elements they should stay where you have placed them. Can you please specify what you mean when you say you navigate away from it?

I look forward to providing further assistance.

    Hi Hanne,

Thanks for the response. In the first question, I wanted to know if there was a way to pick more than on of the branches when routing them to the decision. See attached Example 1.

For the latter, when I set up the workflow I put the boxes in a specific order, but when I leave the page and come back they are all arranged and it's hard to find them.

I tried to attach a document, but do not see it here. I can email it if needed.

    Hi Lindy,

Thank you for getting back to us.

You can try again adding a screenshot by following this link: https://www.jotform.com/help/438-how-to-post-screenshots-to-our-support-forum/

Otherwise, you can also send us an email to support@jotform.com.

In regard to your workflow, can you also please send us a screenshot? As the approval elements should remain where you have placed them.

We will wait for your reply.

    Greetings.

We apologize for the late reply.

Can you please make sure that the changes are saved? This should happen automatically, and you can check when what the flow saved last time below the title:

Also, can you please let us know if you have the same problem with other flows? Does this happen only here?

    Thank you for your cooperation.

I have not created any other workflows - this is my first attempt. I am trying work out the kinks before moving to the next workflow. As a general rule, yes I do check to ensure that the changes save. It does not actually change the workflow, it just moves the visual view of the workflow to a very unreadable view.

    Hi Lindy,

Thank you for getting back to us.

We do not seem to have similar reports about this the past week. Can you please try creating another workflow if you encounter the same issue?

We will wait for your response.
