Date Reservation Widget - Date cancellation

    I am using the date reservation widget to allow for park shelter rentals, where a guest is able to see which dates are available and which are already reserved. If a reservation needs to be canceled or we need to deny the request, how do we make the date available again on the date picker calendar that is part of the reservation widget? I tried removing the item from the submissions spreadsheet, but the dates remain unavailable.


    Additionally, I set up approval workflows for us to approve and deny requests so the email will go to the guest to make them aware. Is there a way for this to also coincide with the actual calendar, and if we deny the request, make the dates available again?

    Hi there,

    As of the moment, the only way to cancel a reservation on the Date Reservation widget and make that date available again is by deleting the actual submission.

    I Have removed the submissions and the dates still remain unavailable.

    Hi there,

    Can you tell us, which date/s was it that you previously selected are still not available?

    Also, by deleting, I meant permanently deleting the submissions. I'm not sure if you're aware but we also have a Trashed Entries folder on your Submission Table. All deleted submissions stay there for 30 days before it expires and gets automatically deleted. If you want to free up the date, the trashed submissions must also be deleted entirely.

    I did check on your submission table and saw that you have 2 entries on Trash, currently. If the submission you're pertaining to is still there, you need to delete that entirely.
