I've got one last question. When the customer submits the form, he has to scroll all the way up to see the greetings message. Is it possib solve this via CSS?

    Hello,

Just to clarify, the greetings message you're referring to is the Thank You page right?

If so, this problem usually happens when the form is embedded on a website so I'm assuming you have embedded the form, correct? Can you share with us the URL of the site where the form is embedded to?

I tested a cloned version of your form and the issue is not happening after submitting directly from the form.

There are several options I can suggest to fix this:

1.) Try embedding the form using the iFrame code. You can refer to this guide for more details: https://www.jotform.com/help/148-getting-the-form-iframe-code/

2.) After submission, you can redirect the form to an external Thank You page on the same website. Basically, the Thank You page needs to be created through your website.

You can check this guide for more details on how set up a URL redirect on the form's Thank You page: https://www.jotform.com/help/38-redirecting-users-to-a-different-page/

We hope this helps. Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Regards,

    Hi,

thanks for your reply. Yeah, you're right, i've embedded the form on my website using the IFrame code. I'd prefer the 'thank you page' as you call it to show up with no redirecting, if possible of course. Here's the link if you want to check out https://www.leddiretto.it/content/2-modulo-di-reso. I know it's a bit of an eyesore, but i'm still working on it :). Thanks in advance for your patience.

    Hello lorenzo,

Thank you for providing your website link. Will you give us permission to do a test submission for us to see if we can replicate the issue with the Thank You page on our end?

We are looking forward to your reply

    Hello lorenzo,

Thank you for providing us with permission to make a test submission. I've made the test submission on your website and I was able to replicate the issue. Kindly try to embed the form using the iFrame code but without the script part.

    Hi,

I've already removed the script part and I added the ''onDISABLEDload=window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)'' line too (however the official Iframe guide on your site states to remove it). What would you suggest to do? Awaiting for your answer.

    Hi there,

    I hope you’re having a lovely day!

After removing the script part of the form and testing a submission, does thank you page appears on your screen without scrolling it at the bottom of the page?

I've tried it using our phone and tablet simulator and I wasn't able to encounter the issue anymore.

I received the Thank you page perfectly.

Let us know if you have questions or clarifications, we’re here to help!

    Best regards,

    Marlon

    Hi,

I don't know what happened. I removed the iframe in order to paste the new one, and it keeps saying 'Invalid content'. I had to turn off the form, and I have no idea about what to do.

    UPDATE

I now know why on the guide it states to remove the onload line when working with prestashop: if you leave it there, it won't allow you to publish the form. So I had to remove it, SO the problem is still there lol. Is there a solution to solve the scroll problem without the ''onDISABLEDload=window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)'' line? Thanks for your patience.

I checked the source code of the page and I see that there's a CSS code added to the iframe HTML tag that might be causing the problem.

    1646219800 621f5218091d1 Screenshot 10

Could you please try changing the height to a lower value and check if the issue still persists?

I also found a thread that you might find useful. It's also a scrolling problem on the form that is solved by deleting the onDISABLEDload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0) from the iframe JS script

    Here's the thread: https://www.jotform.com/answers/267989

    I hope this helps.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

    Hi,

first of all thanks for your help. Secondly, i had to remove  the onDISABLEDload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0) line from the script in order to make Prestashop accept the Iframe. For what concerns the height, i had to manually set such a high value because there are logical conditions in my form that. when triggered, expand the form consistently. If I set a lower height (even smth like 3200 px) the 'Submit' button disappears.

    Hi,

if i have to be brutally honest, since my first question none of the problems was solved. I'm simply making do, removing all those features and characteristics that could conflict with my website.

    Hello Lorenzo,

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. We tested the issue; however, we were unable to replicate it. The form was working fine when we directly accessed it.

If the iFrame is not working, we suggest trying other ways of embedding and ask for your help to test a trial and error to verify what embedded code is working for you. Please see this related guide about which embed code should you use? Please see below the result of the testing I did:

    Hi,

thanks for your reply. The problem with your tests stands here: you're using an Iframe which includes the  onDISABLEDload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0) . By my side, I HAVE TO exclude it because otherwise prestashop will block the Iframe and won't allow me to create the form. If you try stretching the form by activating the triggers located in 'Ritiro con corriere espresso dedicato (costo standard di € 9,90 oltre IVA)' and in 'Bonifico bancario', it won't automatically redirect you at the top of the page. Probably, due to the existing conflict with Prestashop, the best I can do is redirecting the customer to a new URL page. If you have some other solutions, feel free to answer. Thanks you all for your patience.

    Hello Lorenzo.

We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. I understand you don't want to include the  onDISABLEDload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0). Please try the below Iframe code.

    <iframe id="iframe2" src="https://form.jotform.com/220531145365044" frameborder="0" style="
            overflow: hidden;
            height: 100vh;
            width: 100%;
            "
    ></iframe>

Please give it a try and feel free to reach out if you need further assistance.

    Hi,

i've tried using the ifram you sent me and this was the result. The form is now super short and the customer has to scroll to fill it. 1646292938 62206fcaad1d8 Screenshot Screenshot 10

    Hello leddiretto ,

Upon further checking, it seems you increased the height of the embed code.

Please let us know if you need clarifications.
