Unique ID to identify patient in multiple forms

We are a patient foundation and when a person signs up for one of our projects they have to fill in different forms. What we would like is for each of these people to have a different ID and that would be the way to identify them in the forms they fill in. Is this possible? Thank you

As you mentioned the patient need to fill different forms. If you want to pass the unique ID for patient to another form after they submit the first form then you can use the URL parameters for this and pass the unique ID for patient to other forms. On next form you can prepopulate the Unique ID via URL parameter.
