Automatically copy data from 1 row to another row

Hello Support, I am writing to ask two questions regarding Jotform Tables.
    1. Is it possible to have an action that simply copies a row of data to a new row? Kind of like a cut and paste in a worksheet?
    2.

Does Jotform Tables secured by user? In other words, when I have multiple users in the system adding rows, is there a way for each user to see only the rows assigned to them. Is there a security model that governs this?

    Hi James,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, it is possible to automatically copy data from 1 row to another row however it's like copy-paste not cut and paste. Doing that is easy. Let me show you how:

    • On the Jotform Tables page, click on the + Add button next to the last column on the right.
    • On the Pop-up window from the Formula tab, select Advanced formula.
    • Create a new formula as shown in the screencast below:

As for your other question about Jotform Tables privacy, I've moved that to a new thread. You can check that out here.

Should you have any other concerns, kindly let us know.
