Delay in receiving submission emails but the autoresponder seems to be working fine.Asked by telechoice on September 01, 2014 at 11:58 PMJust another question, I'm seeing a delay in the confirmation email reaching my sales team but on the other hand the confirmation to the customer is basically getting delivered pretty much after they press the submit button. Is there any reason why this would be occurring and is there a fix that you can provide me.
There are two things to consider here one is there's something wrong with our mail server that is why you are experiencing delays and two is your email provider is the one that is having problem receiving an email from our domain.
If our logs shows that the email was successfully sent this specific time then the email was already sent out that time. If the recipient doesn't receive that mail then there are few things to look at like if server is full that is why it is not allowing incoming mails. You have to contact your email provider about this.
You can provide information to your mail provider by checking your mail history under your account.
Please view our complete guide on how to check your mail history in this link https://www.jotform.com/help/293-How-to-view-all-your-form-Email-History.
Whitelisting our IP might also help, please check this guide https://www.jotform.com/help/145-Whitelisting-JotMails-IP-Addresses.
